The family consisted of five persons (two adults and three children). The children have left the nest but they have from the beginning been used to be around dogs and especially our puppies have enjoyed that somebody was always ready to play with them. This job has now been handed over to the grandchildren.
In 1980 we
bought our first Wire
Fox Terrier. After the first litter we decided to apply for a kennel prefix
at the Danish Kennel Club. Why it became Danfox was caused by numerous things
e.g. the name point to the fact that the kennel is handling Danish dogs and that
the breed is Wire Fox Terriers. Danfox is also very easy to pronounce and not at
least to remember.
In 1986 we bought our first
Sealyham terrier.
This breed is very rare and seldom in Denmark and a really
nice dog, which, we believe, ought to be more known and common in the country.
The reason why is his indomitable spirit and immense pride as well as his good
heartedness with a lot of
humor.
Our purpose is to breed healthy, well-adjusted family dogs with the right temper and their stunning looks are naturally only a plus. We ourselves are very focused on the show dog and we are very keen on going to shows in Denmark and abroad. Especially because we are able to know if our breeding is headed in the right direction
Throughout the years we have succeeded in showing a lot of dogs to their titles as Danish Champions and not to forget International Champions.
FACTS: We breed two litters a year. Visitors are always welcome to see your dogs
but it would be a good idea to give us a ring before the visit.
